Clinic at the Royal Children's Hospital

Carlie has been a physiotherapist for over 14 years, with experience in rural and metropolitan centers, in both the UK and Australia. This varied caseload has enabled Carlie to deliver outstanding results from her physiotherapy treatments, drawing on a wide range of skills and experiences. Carlie completed her lymphatic training in 2018, and has been passionately helping lymphedema and lipedema clients ever since. Last year Carlie was proud to become an ALA Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner, which recognizes further training and experience as a lymphatic therapist.

 

Emma has been working at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne since 1991 and has specialised in paediatric dermatology since 1995. She pioneered the RCH dermatology nursing role and nurse practitioner model of care. She is acknowledged for her experience and expertise in paediatric eczema and dermatology, and in particular a strong expertise in children’s eczema management, molluscum contagiosum, cradle cap and nappy eczema.

Jane is an Australian Physiotherapy Association titled Lymphoedema Physiotherapist who has completed a PhD investigating primary lymphoedema. She has more than 20 years’ experience in lymphoedema management, including 12 years seeing men, women and children with primary and secondary lymphedema at Mercy Health Lymphoedema Services.

Natalie is a paediatric Speech Pathologist with over 20 years experience. She been working in the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service at The Royal Children's Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital for the past 10 years and previously worked in the acute hospital and community health settings. In February 2020, along with joining The Children's Private Medical Group, Natalie will begin working for the Acute Speech Pathology department at The Royal Children's Hospital.

Samantha Bridgland is a Registered Nurse and a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE). She trained and worked for several years at the Royal Children's Hospital, and has been working with patients and their families with type 1 diabetes, in both the private and Public sector.

Sue is an experienced Paediatric Nurse who has worked at Royal Children’s Hospital in a number of roles for 30 years. Sue completed her Paediatric Nursing Training at the Royal Children’s Hospital, and managed the Nocturnal Enuresis Service at RCH for 15 years.

Sue's keen interest is in child and adolescent bed wetting.
