Doctor Tam is an experienced general paediatrician looking after a wide range of Paediatric medical conditions from birth to Adolescence. He studied Medicine at the University of New South Wales and underwent Paediatric specialist training at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children (RAHC) in Sydney and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW) when RAHC relocated to Westmead. Dr Tam has practiced in Victoria for over 20 years. He is also an Honorary Paediatrician with the RCH.
In additional to his busy clinical work, Dr Tam is active in the training, mentoring and assessment of International Medical Graduates (IMGs), Overseas Trained Paediatricians (OTPs), medical students and paediatrician trainees in Australia. He is a clinical examiner in Paediatrics for the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and is one of the Senior Examiners for the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) Paediatric Clinical Examination.
In his private time, Dr Tam is an active Rotarian and a former president of the local Rotary Club. He enjoys spending time with his family and their furry friend, Maverick, a Japanese Spitz.
