Taryn is a dedicated General Paediatrician who takes a strength-based, family-centred approach to care. She works collaboratively with children and their families to understand their unique concerns and achieve the best possible outcomes through empathy, compassion and evidence-based care. Taryn has a special interest in the assessment and management of children with a wide range of medical and developmental challenges and enjoys advocating for her patients while working closely with the broader healthcare team.

Taryn completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne before undertaking her internship at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. She went on to complete her paediatric training in Victoria at both The Royal Children's Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital. Alongside her clinical work, Taryn is actively involved in research with the Centre for Community Child Health at The Royal Children's Hospital. With a particular interest in mental health and wellbeing, she is committed to supporting both her patients and her colleagues in this important area. She continues to integrate her clinical experience and research to provide thoughtful, compassionate and evidence-based care.

Outside of medicine, Taryn enjoys spending time with her family and finds joy in being surrounded by animals and nature. She also has a longstanding appreciation for music, having previously played the cello, and hopes to reconnect with this passion in the future.
